The Succulent Story.

Happy Monday to all!
Ok, so today I wanted to mix things up a bit. I’m not doing a story about fashion-nor beauty-nor DIY, but one of the latest floral trends!! Which are succulents!
So you might ask, what is a succulent? A succulent is a plant/flower that is thicker and “juicier” than normal plants/flowers because they retain water. Think Aloe Vera!

Succulents have been around for as long as flowers have been around, so basically for forever, but just recently are people warming up to the idea of them being pretty! Lately, I’ve become obsessed with them! I think the reason they’re getting to be so popular is because A)They’re such an interesting looking plant!
B) They are great indoor plants that only need to be watered a few times a week-easy peasy!

My favorite floral shop in Fayetteville, Pigmint has recently been using succulents in bouquets for weddings and just regular flower arrangements! And I’ve seen them all over pinterest and of course, I had to make a succulent garden for my window sill! Here are some of Pigmint’s designs:

And of course my very own succulent garden in my window sill!

As you can see, I wasnt a huge fan of the plain clay pots I put my plants in, so I hot glued twine around the bottoms to make it a little more fun!

That’s basically all for my succulent story! I promise you, they’re SO easy to maintain and I guarantee you’ll love them! (ok, well if you don’t love the pictures I have then you might not but hey I tried)

Have a fabulous week lovely ladies{and classy gents)!
{lastly, some words of wisdom}
